How to get rid of acne
Pimples (or acne) occur when the skin produces too much fat. It glues together dead cells that accumulate in the pores. The number of rashes depends on heredity, hormones and bacteria, which is why it is so difficult to fight them. But there is something you can do.
Properly care for the skin
Wash your face every day with warm water and a mild remedy, such as lotion. Do not use soap for this. Wipe yourself only with individual towels, wash and iron them as often as possible.
Learn to deal with stress
When you are nervous, the hormonal background changes, which can also lead to the appearance of new acne. To get rid of stress, go in for sports, take time for hobbies, communicate more with your loved ones, visit nature more often.
Use water-based cosmetics
Products made with oils, as well as too aggressive scrubs, increase the risk of new acne. Use special scrubs created to combat acne.
Experiment with food
Scientists are still arguing about whether food affects the appearance of acne. Try to give up sweets and dairy for a few weeks. If there are fewer rashes, continue the diet.
Do not squeeze out pimples
There will be more harm than good: a trace will remain on the skin, bacteria will get into the wound, they will spread to neighboring pores, which will only worsen the problem. But if you can’t stand it, then wash your hands with soap and treat the skin with an antiseptic before the procedure.
Learn not to touch your face with your hands
If you touch the skin after washing and treatment, you will bring new bacteria there.
If all these tips do not help, and acne does not get less — contact a dermatologist. Sometimes more powerful remedies are needed to treat acne: antibiotics or oral contraceptives.
