Bepanthen eye and nose ointment
- Dry nasal mucosa with burning, itching and pain
- For follow-up treatment of an operation on the nose in consultation with the doctor treating you
- Very dry eyes with itching and burning, for example as an overnight application
- Superficial corneal injuries on the eye
Usage
Unless otherwise prescribed, apply Bepanthen® eye and nose ointment up to several times a day as required. Put about 1 cm of the ointment, correspondingly less for infants and small children, into the stressed eye or nose.
Use on the eye: First remove contact lenses if you use them. Slightly pull down the lower eyelid of the relevant eye and insert the ointment directly into the conjunctival sac using the cannula of the tube. Close your eyes carefully, this will distribute the ointment evenly over the eye. For a short time, the ointment film can impair your vision. In this case, do not drive. Overnight application is particularly useful for use in the eye.
Use in the nose: Apply the ointment directly to the sore nasal mucosa with the tip of the tube. You can then gently massage the ointment into the mucous membrane by applying pressure to the outer nostrils.
