Exoderil is an antifungal, anti-inflammatory skin solution for cutaneous administration. Its medicinal component is naftifin. It is effective against fungi, yeast and mold.
In addition to the anti-fungal effect, naftifin also has an antibacterial effect against various gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms, which are commonly found in conjunction with fungal disease.
It is used to treat fungal diseases of the skin or skin folds, InterDigital fungal diseases, fungal diseases of the nails, skin diseases caused by yeast, inflammatory skin fungal diseases, to treat pityriasis versicolor and to treat Mycoses caused by a secondary bacterial infection.
Common symptoms of local Mycoses
- Mycoses of the skin are often manifested by redness, itching, possibly even painful cracks in the skin.
- Mycosis of the nails is recognized by the change in the shape, color and structure of the nail. The nail is dull, whitish, yellowish, brittle, crumbly and can separate from the nail bed.
Usage
Apply 1x daily
Since Exoderil quickly penetrates the skin and is present in various skin layers in sufficient concentrations, it can be used for local treatment in a single daily dose.
Use the product only for the treatment of skin and nails. Apply the solution to the affected area of the skin and its surroundings, after cleansing and drying.
When fungal nail infection apply 2 times a day
In order to prevent recurrence of the disease, treatment should be continued for at least 2 weeks after the disappearance of symptoms or after the disappearance of discomfort.
Without consulting a doctor, do not use the product for more than 4 weeks.
Composition
The active substance is naftifini hydrochloride 10 mg in 1 ml of solution. Auxiliary substances are propylene glycol, anhydrous ethanol, purified water.
Warnings
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the preparation.
