Gyno-Pevaryl Combipack 150mg 3 vaginal suppositories + cream 15g is an antifungal agent for vaginal and cutaneous use. Vaginal suppositories and cream are intended for adult women and girls from 16 years.
They contain econazole nitrate, an imidazole-type substance active against yeast, fungal and some bacterial infections. Econazole nitrate suppresses and stops the multiplication of yeast and fungi, which can provoke diseases of the female genital tract (external genitalia and vagina) and inflammation of the foreskin of the glans penis in men.
Usage
Suppositories:
For three consecutive days, introduce one suppository deep into the vagina, preferably in the evening lying down. If the symptoms of the disease do not disappear after the end of treatment, or the condition worsens during the course of treatment, see a doctor.
Cream:
The cream in the package of GYNO-PEVARYL 150 Combipack is intended for the treatment of the vaginal area, the rectal area and for the treatment of a partner. It is necessary to wash the treated area with warm water once a day, dry it, and then apply a thin layer of cream. Always treat the cream at the same time as the vaginal suppositories and continue to consume the entire package of cream.
Treatment of partner:
Before using the cream (once a day), thoroughly wash the acorn and foreskin with warm water, pat dry, and then apply a thin layer of cream GYNO-PEVARYL 50 for fourteen consecutive days. The treatment should continue for another week after the disappearance of symptoms or until the entire package of cream has been consumed.
Composition
The product is econazole nitrate. One suppository contains econazole nitras 50 mg or 150 mg (milligrams).
Warnings
Not suitable for children and adolescents under 16 years. At the time of menstruation, the use of the product is inappropriate.
