Heparin-ratiopharm 180 000 is used for inflammation of superficial veins when compression treatment using external pressure is not possible. Compression therapy is the primary treatment for superficial phlebitis of the lower extremities.

Usage
For use, Heparin-ratiopharm 180 000 is applied to the affected skin. After administration, hands should be washed thoroughly. If there are open skin areas, contact with the gel must be avoided, otherwise burning may occur.
