Persen Forte belongs to a group of product called phytopharmaceuticals – sedatives (tranquilisers), anxiolytics (medicines to relieve anxiety), hypnotics (medicines to induce sleep).
It is a mixture of dry plant extracts with a soothing effect, which has a beneficial effect even with mild disorders of falling asleep and sleep.
Persen Forte is used for psychovegetative disorders of various nature, manifested by increased tension, irritability, restlessness, upset, fear, anxiety, impaired concentration, sleep and sleep disorders, a feeling of fatigue after waking up or even minimal effort, sweating of the palms and trembling of the hands.
Usage
Adults: 1-2 coated tablets 2-3 times a day; with insomnia 2 tablets 1 time a day, 1 hour before bedtime.
Adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 tablet 1-3 times a day.
Capsules are swallowed in whole, not chewed, each dose should be washed down with a small amount of liquid.
Composition
Active substances: Valerianae extractum siccum (Valerian extract dry) 4-7 : 1, extracted with ethanol 70% (V/V) 87.5 mg, Melissae folii extractum siccum (lemon balm extract dry) 3-6 : 1), extracted with ethanol 50% (V/V) 17.5 mg and Menthae piperitae folii extractum siccum (mint extract dry) 3-6: 1, extracted with ethanol 40% (v/v) 17.5 mg in one hard capsule.
The excipients are: capsule contents: light magnesium oxide, magnesium stearate, lactose monohydrate, talc, colloidal anhydrous silica, liquid glucose dry residue (component of Valerianae extractum siccum), maltodextrin (component of Melissae folii extractum siccum and Menthae piperitae folii extractum siccum), peppermint aroma (component of Menthae piperitae folii extractum siccum).
Capsule: gelatin, Iron Oxide Red (E 172), titanium dioxide (E 171), iron oxide yellow (E 172).
