Vitamin B12-Depot-Injektopas 1500 µg solution for injection is a dietary supplement from Pascoe pharmaceutical, which is administered in the form of injections. It contains vitamin B12 in the form of hydroxocobalamin acetate in a dose of 1500 µg per ampoule and is suitable for long-term use.

Vitamin B12-Depot-Injektopas 1500 µg injection solution is used to compensate for a vitamin B12 deficiency that cannot be eliminated through nutrition. In particular, it should improve the memory of those affected, ensure their energy supply and brighten their mood. It is used:

• certain forms of anemia (pernicious anemia, Addison’s anemia)
• spinal cord damage
• gluten intolerance (celiac disease/sprue)
• chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis)
• blind loop syndrome
• a lack of intrinsic factor (IF)
• a congenital disorder of vitamin B12 transport

Usage

For the first few weeks of treatment, take one ampoule intravenously, intramuscularly or subcutaneously twice a week. If you have been diagnosed with a vitamin B12 absorption disorder, take then receive 100 µg cyanocobalamin once a month.
